Afternoon tea with… Sarah Waters

In Week Eight of the SoA @ Home Festival Sarah Waters shared a mini tour of her creative workspace, insights into what she’s currently working on, and how she is adapting to working online.

Sarah is an SoA Council Member and a judge for this year’s Paul Torday Memorial Prize, part of the SoA Awards.

Sarah Waters has written six novels including Tipping the Velvet, The Night Watch and The Paying Guests. She has been shortlisted for the Booker Prize, Orange Prize and Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction. Her novel  Affinity  was also awarded the SoA’s Somerset Maugham Award and the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award. She served on the Management Committee from 2009 to 2012.
