Authors with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses online meet-up
26 August @ 14:00 - 15:00 BST
The Authors with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses network is a member-led peer support network which aims to break feelings of isolation by connecting authors facing common experiences, in an online community that offers continuing professional and personal support. For more information, visit our Network page here.
Join our next online meet-up on Thursday 26 August from 2pm where we will be joined by literary agent Hattie Grünewald who will talk about the role of an agent and discuss how agents can better work with disabled authors.
Hattie Grünewald represents commercial and upmarket fiction – including women’s fiction, crime and thriller, historical and book club fiction – as well as some non-fiction in the areas of lifestyle and personal development. Before joining the Blair Partnership she was a literary agent at Blake Friedmann Agency, where she worked for six years. Hattie has a degree in English and Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and she is also a poet. In 2020, Hattie was a Bookseller Rising Star and the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Agent of the Year.
Our online meet-ups are free to attend for SoA members only. To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP form. We’ll send you an email with a link to join us on Zoom.
