Afternoon Tea with Joanna Trollope

This is our final SoA @ Home Festival Afternoon Tea. Grab a cuppa and a join us for a 45-minute online video session with Joanna Trollope, one of the SoA’s Council members, as she shares a mini tour of her creative workspace, insights into what she’s currently working on, and how she is adapting to working online.


2 minutes – Welcome from Nicola Solomon, CEO, Society of Authors

5-10 minutes – Introduction from Joanna Trollope with a short tour of her workspace and glimpse into her creative routine

10-15 minutes – Advice for authors on staying creative and connected

10-15 minutes – Q&A from audience

The line-up 

Joanna Trollope – Author, SoA Council member

Joanna Trollope, CBE is the author of nineteen contemporary novels and in 2012 was chair of the Orange Prize for Fiction. She won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award for her novel Parson Harding’s Daughter. In 1996 she was appointed CBE. Joanna is a Trustee of the National Literacy Trust, Trustee of the Royal literary Fund and Patron of Chawton House Library.
