Brighton and Worthing Group: Working with Bookshops
1 November @ 19:30 - 20:30 GMT
What – realistically – can local bookshops and authors do for each other? As the driving force behind The Book Makers , a community pop-up bookshop and learning space in Brighton, crime author William Shaw has been able to view the relationship from both sides.
Join the Brighton and Worthing Group on Monday 1 November from 7.30pm for an online chat with William about his experiences and the lessons learned from The Book Makers – and to discuss how Brighton and Worthing authors might be able to help with future projects.
The Book Makers is in Cranbourne St, close to Brighton’s Churchill Square shopping centre. You can learn more about the collaboration which went into setting up The Book Makers in this article in The Bookseller magazine.
