11 March @ 12:00 - 13:00 GMT

Free

Join the Bristol Group on Friday 11 March from 12pm for their next online meet-up. This month, we are joined by Bristol Libraries’ Reader Development Librarian, Katharine Seymour, focuses on promoting books, events, and partnerships, and Denis Wise, who is the library development officer, will share how libraries support the development of writers and readers across the area.

In this talk, library staff from the reader engagement team will introduce the library service and give an overview of what’s on offer, from wide range of resources including books and audiobooks, to events and activities that take place in our 27 libraries across Bristol. In particular there will be a focus on how libraries support the development of writers and readers and ways you can get involved and support your local library.

There will be a 20-30 minute presentation on library services and on some of the work they do, highlighting in particular what they can offer authors and readers, and ways readers can support them. There’ll be plenty of time for your quesitons.

Local group online meet-ups are free to attend. To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP form. We’ll send you an email with a link to join us on Zoom.

If the confirmation email doesn’t arrive in your inbox, please check your junk mail folder! Please email us with any queries.
