In lieu of face-to-face meetings, our network of local groups are hosting online meet-ups for members to catch up and stay in touch.
Join the Bristol Group on Friday 22 January from 12pm for a short session from Authors’ Licensing and Collecting Society (ALCS) on secondary licensing and author incomes.
Pallavi Vadhia and Ersilia Cilenti from ALCS will give a short overview of:
- Who ALCS are and what they do – the collection of secondary royalties for authors
- Sources of income – where the money comes from
- What ALCS pay for – books and how to claim for articles/visual contributions
- How to join and the benefits of membership
There will be plenty of time for questions afterwards.
