Feel Good Friday – Stranger Stories

7 July @ 13:00 - 15:30 BST

Stranger Stories is, on one level, a collaborative and improvisational writing workshop. On another level, it is a space for adults to be playful and creative with strangers.  No experience of writing improvised stories or storytelling is necessary, just a willingness to collaborate with people you’ve never met.

  • 1pm – Join us for some light bites
  • 1.30pm – Welcome and Housekeeping from Lilly Brend-Fish – Events & Outreach Assistant, SoA (5 mins)
  • 1.35pm- Introductions, games, and story creation hosted by Adam E Holton (60 mins)
  • 2.35pm – Comfort break (10 mins)
  • 2.45pm – Storytelling session (20-30 mins)
  • 3.05/3.15pm – Summary and conclusion (10 mins)

Who is this session for?

This session is for writers who want to expand their peer group, develop improvisational writing skills, practice telling stories out loud and get to meet some strangers.

What will this session cover?

An afternoon of mingling with people, word games, creating improvised short stories with strangers and the magic of sharing them out loud.
