Glasgow Group meet-up

21 May @ 18:30 - 21:00 BST

Free

Join the Glasgow Group for a social meet-up and an inaugural prize event at Aye Write on 21 May from 6.30pm.

The Kavya Prize, in association with the University of Glasgow and founded by Indian-born Scottish author Leela Soma, seeks to recognise and encourage writers of colour who are Scottish by birth, residence or formation. The inaugural prize for full-length published works of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry or short story collections will be awarded at Aye Write.

Let’s support this new Scottish literary prize that celebrates the published work by Scottish writers of colour!

We’ll meet at Michtell Library café from 6.30pm for a friendly social before moving to the prize giving event at 8pm. You’ll need to buy a ticket for the prize event here.

The social is free to attend. To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP for so we have an idea of how many are planning to attend.

If the confirmation email doesn’t arrive in your inbox, please check your junk mail folder! Please email us with any queries.
