Monmouth Group: November Meet-Up
6 November @ 15:00 - 17:00 GMT
Venue TBC – This may be rescheduled as a virtual event. We will keep you updated.
This month, the Monmouth Group welcomes agent Broo Doherty for an informal Q&A on agenting and publishing practice. Please send in your questions when you RSVP so we can focus the talk around them.
This will be a popular event, so please email host Margaret Iggulden to reserve your place and bring £2.50 cash, payable on the door, to cover tea and biscuits.
Broo Doherty graduated from Downing College Cambridge and then started working in publishing, where she has worked for the last twenty years. She has worked right across the board in publishing houses and as an agent. She handles all genres, excluding children’s books, screenplays and sci-fi, but particularly enjoys crime, women’s commercial fiction, literary fiction and quirky non-fiction. In 2017 she was voted Literary Agent of the Year at the Royal Novelist’s Association.
Monmouth Group meet-ups are monthly events (usually the first Friday of the month) where attendees can discuss their work and publishing practice. Meets are open to the public and you are welcome to bring guests.
