Oxfordshire Group: Parenting as a Writer/Writing as a Parent
27 May @ 13:00 - 14:00 BST
Join the Oxfordshire Group on Friday 27 May from 1pm for an open discussion on being an author as a parent.
This is a networking and sharing session for parents, grandparents, and carers of children. Whether they’re newborn babies or time-consuming teenagers, parenting always comes with challenges. How do these challenges affect writers in particular?
Hosted by SoA Oxfordshire’s Alice Little, we will discuss topics from the challenges of time-management to how your kids might inspire you – bring us your top tips, your horror stories, and your company. Children are welcome to be present during the session!
The session will run for an hour, with half an hour optional chat until 2.30pm.
Local group meet-ups are free to attend. To join us, click the Going button below and enter your details in the RSVP form so we have an idea of how many people will be attending.
