Audio is the fastest growing segment of the publishing industry. Join Damon Courtney, CEO of BookFunnel as he unpacks the latest developments in audiobook delivery and direct sales. This event is hosted by Margaret Skea, a member of the SoA Management Committee and SoA in Scotland.

Damon Courtney – BookFunnel

Damon Courtney is the creator and CEO of BookFunnel, an ebook and audiobook delivery service for authors and publishers. As a lifelong software engineer, Damon is an expert in just about everything technical and can offer unique insight on publishing as it relates to software and technology. He has also self-published a single fantasy trilogy and continues to spin stories in his head that he hopes to publish soon.

Margaret Skea

Margaret Skea is an award-winning author of five historical novels and one published collection of short stories. She is particularly interested in the twin challenges of bringing relatively unknown historical characters out of the shadows and providing an authentic ‘you are there’ experience for the reader.
