Surrey Group: Writing Horror

Join the Surrey Group on Tuesday 10 January from 12.15pm for an informal in person meet-up. This month we will be joined by author Ian Backhouse, whose horror debut Beneath The Dark came out in 2022.

Ian Backhouse has been writing since he was in his early teens, and at first, it was always as a hobby. With life taking many different turns over the coming years, he had a career first as a professional drummer and then spent ten years in the Metropolitan Police Service, an experience he often draws on in his fiction.
