Warwickshire Group: Social media basics
27 July @ 19:15 - 20:15 BST
Join the Warwickshire Group on Tuesday 27 July from 7.15pm for a session on the basics of social media. What is social media and why should you use it? How do you choose the platform for you? How do you optimise your author profile? In this workshop Ellie Stevenson will explore Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, look at the differences between them and help you understand which is the best fit for you. We’ll also be looking at how you build your social media strategy. The session will include the opportunity for questions and discussion.
Ellie Stevenson is a writers’ coach, and the author of three novels. Her fourth novel, Shadows of a Lost Poet, an historical mystery with a time travel twist, is due out this September. She also runs workshops for authors on marketing their books, including how to use social media effectively.
All members welcome from the surrounding area – if you haven’t attended a session before, come along and say hello.
