West Yorkshire Group meet-up

Join our West Yorkshire Group on Wednesday 5 April from 7.30pm for their next in person get-together. We’re heading north to meet at Micklegate Social, an independent café and bar in the centre of York.

We will be joined by Kathryn Tann of New Writing North, who will give a short talk about the organisation’s work developing creative writing and reading in the north of England and then there will be an opportunity to chat and share experiences in small groups around the theme of ‘Finding the Time’, including how and when we write, tips for keeping motivated, how to manage portfolio careers and writing around other commitments.

Stay afterwards to socialise, to sample Micklegate Social’s craft beer, coffee or cocktails, and to catch up with friends, old and new.

We’ll meet at Micklegate Social, 148-150 Micklegate, York, YO1 6JX.
