Teddy joined the SoA in February 2020 where he assists the Communications department and works on the SoA’s campaigning projects.
Sophia curates and delivers the SoA events programme. She supports our team of community coordinators and is a coordinator herself, for the Scriptwriters Group. She is also co-chair of the SoA’s Staff Inclusivity Network. In 2021 Sophia was named a Rising Star by The Bookseller.
Sarah is one of our Senior Contracts Advisors, she advises members on publishing contracts and issues as well as administering our grants for writers in need including the PD James Memorial Fund. She also handles our literary estates, including print permissions and amateur stage licences.
Ruby joined the SoA in 2018. She manages the day-to-day operations of the Membership Department and is working with the Head of Membership on the development of our new CRM.
Robyn manages the SoA’s list of Prizes and Awards including the translation prizes, grants for works in progress and awards. She is co-chair of the SoA’s Staff Inclusivity Network. In 2019 Robyn was named a Rising Star by The Bookseller. She is currently reading Under My Thumb: Songs That Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them edited by Rhian Jones and Eli Davies.

Francesca leads on our community development and outreach programmes, which aim to engage and empower authors, poets, screenwriters, translators and illustrators, at all stages of their careers, throughout the UK.
Liz advises members on publishing contracts and issues.
Christine joined the SoA in 2018 as our Office and Facilities Manager. She brings a wealth of experience from different industries, and contributes to the continued growth of the SoA and its services.
Manages special projects for the SoA including the recent property move, Management Committee elections. Group Coordinator for the Translators Association and advises on translation contracts.
Leads the advisory team and advises members on publishing contracts and issues. Sarah also handles our literary estates, including professional stage licences.
Peter Kennedy joined the SoA in December 2019 as our Head of Member Services. He is responsible for the Membership Services team and is currently project-managing our the development of our new CRM.
